OUTLINE ITINERARY

Nepal and Tibet have it all - Buddhist monks, ancient monasteries, spectacular mountain passes and the mighty Mount Everest. With three exciting small group tours on offer, you can ride on elephants in search of elusive tigers in Chitwan National Park, make your own pilgrimage to Tibet, relax by beautiful Lake Phewa or head to the skies for an incredible scenic flight over the Himalayas.


Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Our guide will help you to get transferred to the hotel as soon as you arrive in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Shivpuri (Trekking)

After a sumptuous breakfast, drive to Budhanilkantha (10 km from Kathmandu) to start first day trek towards Nagi Gompa. It takes around one and a half hours to reach there. Lunch will be served here. After lunch, further trek on a steep descant through forest for 3 hrs to pitch our first night camp at Shivpuri which is around 2563 m above sea level. Shivpuri offers breathtaking views of Himalayas. Overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 03:Shivpuri – Chisopani (Trekking)

Day 04: Chisopani – Sunderjal - Kathmandu

In early morning itself, we will continue our trekking on an easy trail through thin forest enjoying scintillating views of of the Himalayas to Sunderjal. After lunch, you will be taken back to Kathmandu in a coach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Kathmandu – Zhangmu

You check out of the hotel early in the morning and leave straight for Kodari which is the Nepal China Border. After clearing all the immigration formalities, you will cross the friendship bridge into the city of Zhangmu. Our representative will meet you at the Tibet side from where you will be driven further to Zhangamu and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Zhangmu – New Tingri

After your first mouthwatering Tibetan breakfast, we head straight for Xeger. En route we will cross Nyalam Pass and Lulung Pass. The journey is bit lengthy and takes around 8 hrs continuous driving to reach there but this 250 km stretch will not at all be boring or tiring. The stretch is one of the most scenic in entire Tibet. Get the best views of Himalayas and even Mt. Everest that will leave you spell bound. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

Day 07: New Tingri – Shigatse

This day too is set for long drive, you will be taken in a coach to Shigatse which is around 244 km away. It will take around 8 hrs to cover the entire distance. On arrival, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08:Shigatse – Gyantse

Day 10:- In Lhasa

After the best Tibetan cuisine breakfast, brace yourself up for witnessing few of the most beautiful architectural wonders in entire Tibet. Visit the famous Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and the busy Barkhor street. Back to the hotel for a refreshing night sleep. Day 11 – In Lhasa The day is again set aside for sightseeing in the wonderful Lhasa City. Explore the fascinating sites of Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery and Norbulingka. If time remains, you can always go out looking for unique Tibetan items like Thangka Paintings and famous Tibetan knife. Return back to hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 12 – Lhasa - Kathmandu

Day 13 – Kathmandu

The number of attractions in Kathmandu are enough to keep your whole day occupied. After a special Nepali breakfast, move out in the city and explore the many stunning sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhnath, Swayambhunath, Patan and Darbar Square. As the night starts to fall, come back to the hotel for a goodnight sleep.

Day 17 – Pokhara

The first half of the day starts after a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel. Move out into the city explore the hidden wonders of the town. In the evening time, enjoy a refreshing boat ride at Lake Fewa. Back in hotel, sleep to the softly blowing cool winds of Pokhara.

Day 18 – Pokhara – Kathmandu

You have reached the last leg of this entertaining tour. The day will take you back to Kathmandu by a 210 km route which will take around 7 hrs to cover. Check in at hotel immediately after you reach Kathmandu. By now, you will be pretty familiar with the ways in and around Kathmandu, we suggest you to mingle with the locales and learn more about their customs. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 19 – Departure from Kathmandu

The day is the last of this tour. After checking out of the hotel you will be directly taken to airport for your flight to onward destination.
